Radio is considered to be an honour to the ears and every year this award provides convincing evidence of the high emotional power, effectiveness and creative potential of audio.

Golden Mikes recognizes the talent expertise and hard work that goes behind a brilliant radio campaign.

This year we are offering Radio Stations, Brands and Agencies an opportunity to showcase the best of their work done for the period 1st March 2019 to 29th February 2020. (Campaigns that have been introduced earlier but ran during this period or continued running after this period, are also eligible to enter)

    Recognising advertising /promotional campaigns on radio that has shown measurable impacts on a client's business in terms of consumer behaviour, brand image & sales
  • A02. Best Use of Radio for Launch/Relaunch
    Recognising effectiveness of an advertising /promotional campaign on radio that has been used for the launch / relaunch of a product /service
  • A03. Best Use of Radio for Long Term Effectiveness
    Recognising effectiveness of an advertising /promotional campaign on radio which ran for at least two consecutive years.(Radio has to be the key reason for the success of the campaign)
  • A04. Best Use of Branded Content or Sponsorship on Radio
    Recognising effectiveness of a branded or sponsored radio program featuring content creation, placement or association of a product /service.
  • A05. Best First Time Effective Use of Radio
    Recognising the effectiveness of a radio campaign executed by a brand for the first time within the eligibility period.

    A campaign which ran on a Single Radio station to promote a product / service can be entered here.
  • C02. Best On Air Promotion for a Client- Multiple Station
    A campaign which was done by/for a Client on:
    • Radio stations of the same network in multiple cities
    • Radio Stations of different networks in a single city
    • Multiple stations in multiple cities
  • C03. Best On Ground Promotion by a Single Radio Station for a Client
    An on ground activity which was done by a single radio station to promote a product /service for a client can be entered here.
  • C04. Best On Ground Promotion by a Network of Radio Stations for a Client
    An on ground activity which was done by multiple stations of a radio broadcasting network to promote a product /service for a client can be entered here.
  • C05. Best Sponsored On Air Promotion by a Single Radio Station for Self
    A sponsored campaign which ran on a single radio station with the objective to promote the radio station itself, can be entered under this category.
  • C06. Best Sponsored On Air Promotion by a Network of Radio Stations for Self
    A sponsored campaign run by a radio broadcaster with the objective to promote their own radio stations, can enter under this category. The campaign should have been run on at least two stations.
  • C07. Best Sponsored On Ground Promotion by a Single Radio Station for Self
    A sponsored on ground activity which was done by a single radio station with the objective to promote the radio station itself, can be entered under this category.
  • C08. Best Sponsored On Ground Promotion by a Network of Stations for Self
    A sponsored on ground activity done by a Radio Broadcaster with the objective to promote their own radio stations, can enter under this category. The campaign should have been run on at least two stations.
  • C09. Best Promotion on Digital for a Client
    Any campaign that has successfully used digital medium for promoting a product/service for a client

    Brands that have used radio in the most unique manner whereby the brand is subtly integrated in the content.

    Campaign done by a Network of Radio Stations for self or client on radio in the languages –– Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and others from the South region can enter here. (A campaign must consist of two or more pieces of work for promoting)
