Currently as the Area Marketing Lead at GSK Consumer Healthcare since May 2016, Anurita has been driving the growth of India’s leading specialised toothpaste, Sensodyne. She has been instrumentalin some of the largest campaigns and launches including the launch of Sensodyne Whitening.
Prior to GSK, she was business head for the personal care category at Philips India. Over the course of her career, she has worked with leading brands such as Nokia, KurKure (PepsiCo) and Bru (HUL) and has an exceptional track record of business successes. She has created, launched and sustained power brands through innovative campaigns that are both global as well as India-rooted.

With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Bishwajeet Samal is a seasoned marketing professional with over a decade of experience within the Volkswagen brand. He joined Volkswagen India in 2008 and prior to his current appointment at Volkswagen Passenger Cars in India, he spent over three years in charge of Regional Marketing, International Communications at Volkswagen AG, Germany.
In his expansive career, Mr. Samal has worked in Media, Advertising and Telecom industries before joining Volkswagen. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing from the Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR), Pune.
Mr. Samal’s appointment has been effective since June 2018 and in his new role as Head of Marketing, Volkswagen Passenger Cars in India, he will be reporting to Mr. Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India.

Amit brings with himself nearly two decades of experience across strategy and marketing function spanning Indian & International fashion brands. He started his career with Pepe Jeans India in 1999 and worked across various functions. After leaving Pepe as the Brand Manager he worked with Future Group and then moved to Marks and Spencer. As Chief Marketing at M&S, he was instrumental in redefining the overall brand communications strategy for India. Amit joined H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) , one of world’s leading fashion brand as Head Marketing in 2014 and was instrumental in launching the brand in India in Oct 2015 and its e-commerce foray in March 2018. Within two and half years of its launch H&M has 34 stores across 15 cities in India. As Head Marketing, his responsibility is to develop and strengthen the brand.
