His passion for innovation and technology has steered some of the significant investments and initiatives for vivo in India, which are in alignment with vivo’s vision of providing extraordinary experiences to its customers. These initiatives, apart from resulting in an increased market share for vivo have also brought awards such as the ‘Most Progressive Brand’ and the ‘Most Innovative Brand’ by the coveted Mobility Excellence Awards and Smartprix People’s Choice Awards, respectively.
Nipun comes with an industry experience of over a decade across various functions like product planning, product development, product marketing, sales and marketing communications which give him an in-depth understanding of this sector and help him devise diamond-cut brand and marketing strategies to catapult vivo in its India journey.
Earlier, Nipun has held other leadership positions at various consumer technology companies like Samsung India and Lava International Limited.
Nipun holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, the University of Delhi where he was an IFCI scholarship holder. He has done his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
