Sandeep Verma is the Country Head for Bayer’s Consumer Health Division in India, Bangladesh and Sri
Lanka. He has over 20 years of FMCG industry experience working in organizations like Unilever across
diverse roles in Sales, Brand Management, Category Management and various P&L stints handling
multiple brands, categories across the globe. In his various roles, he has had opportunities to work
closely on country domestic strategies, international category launches, expansions, business growth
strategies and various other organizational projects. Sandeep has been involved with the health and
hygiene categories in FMCG for the last 10 years and has launched many consumer initiatives on this
front globally under brands like Lifebuoy.
Sandeep strongly believes in building high-performing teams with a leadership style that empowers
employees while fostering an entrepreneurial culture that encourages agility, breakthrough thinking for
strategic risk-taking and bold ideas delivered through disciplined execution.
Sandeep graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Allahabad with a degree in Mechanical
Engineering and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He joined Bayer India in
November 2019. In his earlier stints, he was the President of Bajaj Consumer Care and the Global
Marketing Director at Unilever.
