Judging Criteria

Welcome to the Judging Dashboard of e4m Real Time Programmatic Advertising Awards. The awards winners are selected by members of the Jury from the best work entered through the call for entries from across India.

Screening of Nominations:

The winners are selected through an extensive selection process. Jury members will independently inspect each entry and rate them based on their respective judging criteria. Those entries that do not fulfil the criteria shall be disqualified. e4m Real Time Programmatic Advertising Awards shall not be liable to give any explanation to anyone for disqualification of entries.

Criteria for Judging:

Strategy (20%)
An entry should demonstrate an approach to the overall purpose and target audience throughout each element of the campaign.

Points to consider:

  • Delineate the strategic objective- sales, leads, market share, brand awareness, etc.
  • Identify the target audience.
  • What was the creative and media strategy?
  • Context- Is this the 1st year of the campaign? If not, how did it dovetail to the previous year results? Any new technology used?

Execution/Media Results (20%)
Jury shall focus on the alignment of the strategy with the result through the effective use of resources, technology and implementation of the campaign.

Points to consider:

  • How the campaign was implemented and what was the level of success?
  • How did the execution help achieve results?
  • How was digital integrated in overall marketing strategy?
  • How creative or sophisticated was the campaign?
  • What did the digital medium bring to the campaign that other channels missed?
  • How was digital matched to specific markets, demographics relevant to overall campaign execution?
  • What percent of the budget went to digital?
  • What impact did the campaign have on the market?

Creativity (20%)
Jury shall focus on a few elements of the campaign like content, design, technological innovation, and the unique nature and/or originality of the underlying idea. It includes writing, music, and relevant use of animation, video or anything that communicates a creative marketing message.

Points to consider:

  • Consumer engagement.
  • Integration with the overall campaign.

Innovation (20%)
Jury shall focus on a few elements of the campaign like content, design, technological innovation, and the unique nature and/or originality of the underlying idea. It includes writing, music, and relevant use of animation, technology, video or anything that communicates an innovative marketing message.

Points to consider:

  • Delineate the strategic objective- sales, leads, market share, brand awareness, etc.
  • Integration with the overall campaign.

Results (20%)
Jury shall evaluate the submission on the basis of the results of the campaign, based on whether the campaign achieved desired results? Was it able to reach the target audience? Or any other statistic which will help in proving the results of the campaign.

Points to consider:

  • Did the campaign achieve its goals, qualitative and quantitative?
  • How did the consumer receive the campaign?
  • How innovative was the campaign?
  • What impact did the campaign have on the market?

Please note:
- Make your submission concise but provide enough relevant background information to enable the judges to make an informed choice.
- The judges reserve the right to re-allocate entries that in their view are entered in an incorrect category. The judges also reserve the right to remove categories where entries do not meet the standard for nomination.
- All entries along with supporting statistics/material will be maintained confidentially.

Mandatory points to be included in your entry:
  • Campaign Summary.
  • Campaign objectives and predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • How were the KPIs achieved? Describe the achievement providing evidence.
  • What forms of advertising (for example, Display, Video, Audio, DOOH) were used and the extent of contribution by each towards the achievement of objectives?
  • How was the performance of the campaign measured?
  • What made the campaign innovative?
  • Scope for scalability of the campaign.
  • Role of Programmatic in the success of the campaign.
Eligibility:

Entries must have been live to market at some point between 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024. Entries do not have to be created within this timescale. If a campaign has begun or ended in this stipulated period, but not completed/started within the period, it can be considered valid as long as a substantial part of the campaign falls under this time frame.

Entries in a language other than English or Hindi must be accompanied by a translation. The translation must not be a synopsis, but a direct translation of the text of a PPT, AV, advertisement, poster, etc. For non-English or Hindi video entries, please dub or provide subtitles. For non-English audio entries, please provide either a transcript in the form of a digital file or a video file format that provides subtitles while the audio is playing.

Upload the presentation with your supporting creative (AV, Images) through a Google drive link. It is mandatory for all entrants to submit their entries in AV or Presentation format. Please make sure the PPT is uploaded on Google Drive and the shareable link is submitted in the entry form (Don’t forget to make the link PUBLIC). The PPT should not exceed more than 20 slides. An AV can be submitted as a supporting document. AV should not be longer than 3 minutes and could be uploaded on YouTube or Google Drive. Please make sure the YouTube link and the Google drive link submitted in the entry form is public.

Entry submission is a completely online process:

Step 5: Make Payment

Submission/Supporting material:
  • Creative/campaign Screenshot (required) on Google Drive.
  • PDF of campaign report (Summary, Campaign, Results, etc.) (required) on Google Drive.
  • The entrants are encouraged to submit a video of no longer than 180 seconds duration to support the campaign. This will help the jury understand and evaluate the campaign better (only YouTube/Vimeo Link; no other files).
  • Work done for the period 1st March 2023 to 31st March 2024 qualify to enter. (Campaigns that have been introduced earlier but ran during this period or continued running after this period, are also eligible to enter).
  • All entries must be submitted in the original language of the work. If the entries are not in English or Hindi, a transcript is mandatory.
  • There is no limit to the number of entries an organisation can submit.
  • If the same campaign/work is submitted under multiple categories, it will be considered as separate entries and should be accompanied with separate entry fees.
  • Entries will not be considered completed until full payment has been made.
  • All Google drives should be made PUBLIC.
