Alok Rungta is the Managing Director & CEO of Generali Central Life Insurance
Company Limited (GCLIC) and is instrumental in transforming Generali Central Life’s
vision of being a lifetime partner amongst all the internal and external stakeholders.
Mr. Rungta is a veteran in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry with more
than 25 years of experience. He has led executive roles across insurance companies
in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and India. His deep industry knowledge of the Indian
insurance market makes him a proven leader. He has spearheaded numerous
strategic initiatives in the following areas:
- Leading transformational digitization initiatives within the organization
- Growing a profitable distribution operation
- Sales innovation for acquiring and retaining customers
- Cultivating a high-performing workforce by investing in employee’s growth
path
Mr. Rungta is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
India and a bachelor’s in commerce from Mumbai University.

Debabrata Mukherjee
Managing Director, Lotte India Corporation Pvt Ltd (Havmor)
Debabrata Mukherjee is a seasoned business leader with over three decades of experience spanning leadership, business strategy, marketing, and innovation across diverse industries and geographies. Until recently, he served as the Managing Director & CEO of Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Ltd, and was also the Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors, where he played a key role in driving growth and strengthening the brand’s market position.
Prior to Bata, Debabrata spent over 20 years with The Coca‑Cola Company, holding senior leadership roles across India, South Korea, and South‑West Asia, where he led large, complex markets and steered long‑term strategy and revenue growth initiatives. He has also been associated with Hindustan Times, where he contributed to strategic transformation and growth.
His career includes leadership tenures with the United Breweries Group, where he drove consumer‑centric portfolio expansion, and Emami Agrotech Ltd, where he served as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, leading the edible oils business with full P&L responsibility for the Foods portfolio.
Known for his sharp strategic lens and consumer‑first approach, Debabrata brings deep expertise in scaling brands, building businesses, and navigating dynamic market environments.
Vivek Agrawal
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ultratech
Mr. Vivek Agrawal is a Whole Time Director and Chief Marketing Officer at UltraTech Cement Limited. Having joined the Aditya Birla Group in 1993, Mr. Agrawal has held several significant leadership roles in the flagship cement company of the Group, including Zonal Head – Grey Cement South, Head Marketing – Birla White and Head – RMC Business. In 2010, he took over as the CEO of the UAE based acquisition, Star Cement Co LLC and led a successful business turnaround. Prior to joining the Group, he worked with Tata Motors.
Mr. Agrawal assumed his current role as the Chief Marketing Officer of the Cement Business in 2013 and was elevated as Business Head in 2020. As the Business Head and Chief Marketing Officer, his role spans Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Ready Mix Concrete, Building Products Division, UltraTech Building Solutions, and UTEC— a contemporary phygital ecosystem.
With a firm focus on building brands at scale, Mr. Agrawal has led the team through 6 successful post-merger integrations transitioning regional brands into a unified Brand UltraTech as a National Champion. Brand UltraTech has since been ranked as the 7th most valuable Indian brand by Kantar BrandZ.
Mr. Agrawal has spearheaded Ready Mix Concrete into a market-leading business, incubated the Building Product Division (BPD) into the next growth engine and scaled UltraTech Building Solutions into the largest branded retail chain in the building and construction space.
He is pioneering a Solutions-led, Phygital business model powered by strong customer focus and AI-enabled Digital Transformation, positioning the organisation for the future.
As an Executive Board Member of Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), Mr. Agrawal plays an instrumental role in driving the adoption of Green Building products and practices across the Indian construction ecosystem.
Mr. Agrawal was named an Aditya Birla Fellow in 2017 and was a recipient of the Chairman's Outstanding Leader Award in 2019.
Mr. Agrawal holds a B.E. (Hons.) degree from NIT Allahabad and MBA from FMS, Delhi. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program and is an alumnus of Wharton Business School.
